These things get under my skin

I’m Oli, I’m 24 and currently live in Leeds. I am originally from a place called Rossendale in the countryside, kinda. I originally got tumblr as a place to vent my hatred, through forms of rants but my page has changed quite a lot. I now use it to complain but also document my lifting progress at the gym, post spiels about recent events and talk about gaming. I do not reblog things constantly, I do not talk about sex and I do not pretend to like certain bands, tv programmes or artists to fit in. I am described as a lot of people as a cunt, a prick and an emotionless human, but this is not true. Most of what I say is sarcastic, I do not go out of my way to hurt anyone and it is never my aim. I like to argue, I like to debate and I am confrontational. I am not a keyboard warrior as I do this in person too. If you don’t like complaining, rants or blogs that do not reblog stupid shit with no personal input then do not follow me. Oh, lastly, I fucking HATE this website and 99% of it’s users. I simply use it for it’s functionality and the aforementioned reasons. >

These things get under my skin: If I see one more person boasting about their bursary.

I’m unfollowing/deleting that person.

My friend and sister get one just for the school we went to, fuck off.

This. I fucking HATE it. I get a loan that is so low that it barely covers my rent, and have done for 3 years. Student finance/universities do not take…

feeling you.
this morning I was short for rent, and everyone else received a nice amount which would of helped me out…

Man, the entire system is a complete joke. Basically, my dad’s income on paper is pretty good, (but my parents are in debts and most their income goes to the debt management, but the government dont take into account outgoings so…)so the loan they give me is not great at all (usually around £1500 per third (up from 1300 in my first year) which covers my rent and bills and leaves me around £350 for the period, However, I had to pay extra bills after I came back from Christmas, which left me with about £200 for the period, obviously that goes pretty quick on food/up keep etc. So yeah, here I am, about to move back to my Parents house because I have £4 left in my bank. I can’t find a job (nor should I have to, really, given the fact the government throws out money all the time to everyone bar the small few). While this is happening, almost all of my friends are receiving their 500-1.5k bursaries, which they receive twice a year.

I think the most ironic thing about it all, though, is that it’s the people who already get the most money from the government, who then receive the bursaries. I mean what?
